All nominations must be submitted by October 1 of any given calendar year in order for the nomination to be considered for the current year's Award. Otherwise, it will become part of the following year's nomination process.

In general, all nominees must possess the capacity to change another person's life and be fully committed to the Catholic Faith and dedicated to family as prescribed by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and congruent with the Holy See of Rome. Specifically, this person should exude a profound Faith, a dedication to traditional family values (without exception), pro-life (without exception), have the courage to do what is right and defend true Catholic teaching, be voluntarily involved with Church, school and/or citizenship, while treating everyone with dignity and charity in a joyous manner. This person should be a model Catholic and Friend of God!

NOTE: No self-nominations will be accepted. Nominations of past or present CPO Board members, their family members and CPO active volunteers cannot be accepted.
